Abbey McGrew

Abbey McGrew is an experienced professional in machine learning and data science, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning Engineering for Worldwide Operations at Apple since November 2013. Prior to this role, Abbey held the position of Data Science Manager at Apple and worked as a Senior Research Scientist at 21CT, Inc., where responsibilities included designing and prototyping data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling solutions. Earlier experiences include serving as a Clinical Research Project Manager at LDR Spine and an internship at Biodynamic Research Corp in 2003. Abbey holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Rochester (2003-2012) and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1999-2003).
