Ben Penner is currently the System Product Design Engineer Lead at Apple, a position held since 2023. Prior to this, they accumulated extensive experience in product design and development roles, including serving as Director of Product Development at Giro Sport Design from 2020 to 2023 and Senior Design Engineer at Toyota from 2001 to 2011. Ben also held key positions at Bell Helmets and Fox Racing, where they focused on hardgoods development. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 2000.
