Byeongju Cha

Byeongju (Chris) Cha is a skilled DFT engineer at Apple since March 2017, with prior experience as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Oracle, focusing on product DFT for SPARC Microprocessors. Responsibilities included pattern validations, silicon failure analysis, yield analysis, and processor bring-up. Previous roles include research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Southern California, where research was conducted in DFT and hardware security. An internship at NVIDIA involved post-silicon validations and developing data processing tools. Byeongju (Chris) Cha holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University.
