Carlos Laguna

Carlos Laguna is a Machine Learning Engineer currently working on the App Store Recommendation team at Apple. They previously held roles at Microsoft as a Machine Learning Engineer and Software Developer, where they explored machine learning algorithms and enhanced query understanding in Bing Maps. Prior to that, Carlos worked at Oracle as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, contributing to performance improvements and architectural changes in the RDBMS Scheduler. With a Master’s in Computer Science focused on Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Carlos has a solid foundation in computer science and software development.
