Software Engineer, Computational Imaging at Apple

Jens Jacob Pallisgaard is a software engineer from Denmark. Jens has worked in the field of computational imaging at Apple since December 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a junior data scientist at Spektral from April 2016 to December 2017, where they assisted the development team in different research areas using Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms to improve the automation of cutouts. From October 2014 to December 2014, they worked as an IT consultant at Business Aabenraa, where they created an automated process to present information on Business Aaberaa’s welcome screen. From September 2014 to June 2015, they were a teaching assistant for the course Advanced Engineering Mathematics 1 at Technical University of Denmark. Pallisgaard has also worked as a soccer referee for Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) from July 2010 to December 2013.

Jens Jacob Pallisgaard has a Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling and Computation from the Technical University of Denmark, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Technology from the same school. Jens also spent a year as an exchange student in the College of Engineering at Oregon State University. Prior to that, they attended Egedal Gymnasium, a Danish high school, where they studied mathematics, physics, and biology.
