Charles Ying

Charles Ying is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Apple since April 2015, Charles previously contributed as a Developer at Flipboard Inc. and held significant positions at companies such as Sony, where lead design and development of the Trilithium framework for PlayStation 3 occurred, and Hi5, where technical direction for the Interactive Media Group was provided. Charles is also recognized as the Founder and CEO of PixVerse, acquired by Hi5 Networks, and has held roles as CTO at FilmLoop, Software Architect at Openwave, and Lead Engineer at Sendmail, Inc. Charles's career began with a consultancy role at U.C. Berkeley following a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the same institution.
