David Litchfield

David Litchfield is the Director of Information Security Assurance at Apple, where they lead assessment teams focused on vulnerability research and management to mitigate risks. They previously held positions as Director of Security Architecture at @stake and Managing Director at NGS Software, which they founded and grew into a leading vulnerability research company. Litchfield also worked as an Information Security Specialist at Google, securing Oracle eBusiness Suite, and served as a researcher at various organizations, including Exodus Communications and Diligence Information Security. They are the author of notable works such as the Shellcoder’s Handbook and the Database Hacker’s Handbook. Litchfield is currently pursuing education at Glenalmond College.
