Dehong Xu

Dehong Xu is currently a Machine Learning Researcher at Apple, focusing on LLM post-training and reasoning. They previously served as a Teaching Fellow at UCLA while also gaining experience as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, where they worked on multi-modality and LLM alignment projects. Dehong completed their PhD in Statistics at UCLA, where they also earned a Master's degree in the same field with a GPA of 3.97. Earlier, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, achieving a GPA of 3.87.
