Himesh Patel

Himesh Patel is an experienced hardware engineer and manager with a strong background in designing and developing hardware solutions for renowned technology companies. Currently serving as a Manager of Camera Electronics at Apple since April 2014, Himesh has architected hardware solutions for user experience prototypes and designs that enhance Apple's product features. Prior to this role, Himesh worked at Cisco Systems as a Hardware Engineer, focusing on hardware platforms for switch fabrics, and at Paul Donavan Consulting as a Sr Hardware Design Engineer, where control units for high-powered robots in the solar industry were developed. Himesh has also been instrumental at Lab126 as the Lead Hardware Design Engineer for Amazon Echo, overseeing hardware design from concept to engineering validation testing. Himesh began his career at Ikanos Communications, contributing to xDSL product designs for Central Office equipment. Himesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnic University, supplemented by education from San José State University.
