Isabelia Herrera

Isabelia Herrera is a seasoned music programmer currently working at Apple Music since September 2024. Previously, Isabelia served as a contributing editor at Pitchfork from August 2022 to August 2024 and taught as an adjunct assistant professor at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY during early 2024. Isabelia has held various roles in notable organizations, including a fellowship as an arts critic at The New York Times, a writer-producer position for Audible's "Punk in Translation: Latinx Origins," and multiple contributions to Pitchfork. Isabelia's curatorial experience includes serving on the curatorial committee for Warm Up at MoMA PS1 from 2018 to 2020. Isabelia's formal education includes a Master's degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Barnard College.
