Jiasen Lu

Jiasen Lu is a research scientist currently working at Apple since July 2024, with prior experience as a senior research scientist and research scientist at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2) from February 2020 to July 2024. Jiasen's academic background includes roles as a graduate research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2017 to February 2020 and at Virginia Tech from July 2015 to August 2017. Additional internship experience includes positions at Facebook and MetaMind in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Jiasen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
