Josh Taylor

Josh Taylor is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in product design and development. Currently serving as a Senior Product Design Engineer at Apple since August 2025, Josh previously held key roles such as Head of Product at Kibeam Learning, where a handheld device for interactive children's reading experiences was developed. Prior to that, a tenure at Ember Technologies, Inc. included responsibilities as Lead Product Design Engineer, focusing on various engineering analyses and prototyping, alongside international production oversight. Earlier experience at Apple involved mechanical engineering and simulations, and a summer internship at Sandia National Laboratories included efficiency modeling for energy systems. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and UCLA, respectively.
