Karan Grewal

Karan Grewal is a Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at Apple since November 2024. Previously, Karan worked at Helm.ai, specializing in training neural networks for semi-autonomous driving technology, and at Numenta, where a novel neural architecture for continual learning in neural networks was developed, along with fine-tuning large language models for specific applications. Karan's experience also includes being a Visiting Research Student at Princeton University, focusing on crowdsourcing datasets and statistical analysis in an interdisciplinary research lab, a Research Intern at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, where work on Generative Adversarial Networks was conducted, and a Software Engineering Intern at Rubikloud Technologies, contributing to data engineering and marketing strategies. Karan holds an MSc in Computer Science and a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, both from the University of Toronto.
