Ke Ye is currently a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Apple, focusing on large language model post-training and large-scale reinforcement learning since February 2024. Previously, Ke served as a Senior Software Engineer at Google from July 2020 to February 2024, specializing in deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, along with extensive experience in unsupervised learning and large-scale machine learning. Prior roles at Google included positions as a Software Engineer, concentrating on deep information retrieval and clustering algorithms, as well as RPC securities adoption. Ke worked at Tower Research Capital as a Quantitative Trader from August 2018 to July 2020, and held an internship in the same role. Early academic experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at Caltech, where Ke conducted research in theoretical physics from October 2013 to June 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Physics at Peking University. Ke earned a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Caltech in January 2018.
