Kim Gardner has extensive experience in engineering and technology, with a focus on manufacturing design software and publishing platforms. At Apple from February 2022 to April 2025, Kim served as Manager of Manufacturing Design Software, developing applications and tools to enhance Apple products. Prior to this role, Kim was with Vox Media, LLC from January 2019 to January 2022, initially as Director of Engineering, overseeing a 40-member engineering team and later promoted to Senior Director to recognize significant contributions to engineering practices and culture. Before joining Vox Media, Kim co-founded The Coral Project at Mozilla, where leadership included product and engineering oversight from June 2016 to January 2019. Kim's background also includes founding Pigeon.io and working as a freelance web and app developer from August 2000 to December 2018. Kim holds an Honours BA in Linguistics from the University of Toronto and has studied at Saint Louis University-Madrid.
