Lorena Covarrubias

Lorena Covarrubias is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in program and project management. Currently serving as an Engineering Program Manager at Apple since September 2024, Covarrubias previously held the position of Technical Program Manager at Astranis from February 2022 to August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Electronic Engineer and Electronics Engineer at Lockheed Martin from July 2016 to February 2022. Additionally, Covarrubias gained early experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at ZPower Corporation in 2015. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
