Mahesh Molakalapalli

Mahesh Molakalapalli is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in leading and managing data teams at major technology companies. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Head of Data Engineering for the App Store at Apple since 2014, Mahesh oversees analytics engineering and developer-facing products. Prior to this role, Mahesh founded the Data Engineering function for Apple Media Products Operations and led the Big Data and Data Science Engineering team at Engage3. Additional experience includes serving as Engineering Lead at PayPal and as a Senior Data Engineer at Apple. Mahesh holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, complemented by specialized education in Data Mining, Statistical Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
