Matin Seadat

Matin Seadat is an accomplished professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in product design and development. Currently serving as Manager of Product Design at Apple since June 2020, Matin leads the hiring of mechanical engineers and oversees the design, analysis, and construction of ultra-light mechanisms. Prior experience includes significant contributions as a Product Design Engineer on the Apple Vision Pro team and as an Entry, Descent, and Landing Mechanical Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where Matin was involved in the Mars Sample Return Lander project and the Mars 2020 rover's docking mechanism. Additional roles include internships at SpaceX, OnRobot A/S, and Dassault Systèmes, showcasing a diverse technical background in various cutting-edge projects. Matin holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
