Laura Dantonio has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design. Laura is currently working as a Principal Product Designer at Wood Mackenzie. Prior to that, they were a Freelance UX Designer and worked with various clients. Laura also served as a User Experience Lead at Global Relay and as a Lead UX Designer at Elsevier. Laura also worked as a Senior UX Designer at TalkTalk, where they focused on improving the onboarding and in-live experience for customers. Before that, they were a UX Lead at Liqid S.r.l and gained freelance experience as a User Experience Architect. Laura also worked as an Interaction Designer Freelancer at frog. Laura began their career as a User Experience Consultant at EMC Consulting, where they delivered digital projects for clients such as Barclaycard and Barclays Bank. Laura also had a brief contract role as an Information Architect at Transport for London.

Laura Dantonio has a diverse education history. Laura obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomic from UCL in 2010. Prior to that, they completed a qualification as a yoga teacher in Sivananda Yoga at Sivananda Yoga Vedanta in 2008. In 2007, they attended a Three-Day Tutorial on Usability in Practice with Jakob Nielsen at the Nielson Norman Group. Laura pursued a degree in Management at Birkbeck, University of London from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, Laura holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Interaction Design from Domus Academy/Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, which they obtained in 2003. Laura also studied Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano from 1996 to 2002 and spent a year as an Erasmus student at Lapin yliopisto in 1999-2000. Laura has also pursued various certifications, including Design for the 21st Century with Don Norman from Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF), Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation, 500 Mentorship Minutes from adplist.org, CX Essentials from Forrester in 2020, and Accessibility from Deque University.
