Naveen Appiah

Naveen Appiah is a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, specializing in embodied AI and decision-making for autonomous systems since September 2018. Prior to this role, Naveen served as a Senior Engineer in Vehicle Intelligence at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, leading motion planning for a joint autonomous driving project. Earlier experience includes time at Stanford University's Autonomous Systems Laboratory as a student researcher focused on motion planning for self-driving cars, and internships at Atieva, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and Ashok Leyland. Naveen holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
