Poornima Vijayashanker

Poornima Vijayashanker is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer at Apple, specializing in system integration and automation for major product lines including Apple Watch and Mac products since April 2019. As the Founder of Femgineer, Poornima focuses on empowering tech professionals to advance their careers, while also producing a web show titled "Build." Previous entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding OPEAR, a mobile app-based caregiver provider, and leading BizeeBee Inc, a CRM solution for fitness businesses. Poornima has mentored startups through Techstars and 500 Startups, advised at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering, and taught product development workshops at General Assembly. Early career experience includes software engineering at Intuit, where Poornima significantly contributed to the Mint application. Poornima holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University.
