Pranoy Kovuri

Pranoy Kovuri is a seasoned AI engineer with extensive experience in multinational tech companies. Currently serving as a Staff AI Engineer at Apple since April 2025, Kovuri focuses on building multilingual AI safety models and leading technical staff. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon, expertise was applied in deep learning and distributed systems to enhance search ranking algorithms. At Google, Kovuri contributed as a Responsible AI Software Developer, setting boundaries for the BARD project and supporting the ML Application team in counter-abuse initiatives. A Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from September 2017 to August 2019, Kovuri developed models for heart patient data analysis and managed undergraduate capstone design projects. Additional experience includes an internship at Philips, applying AI techniques in clinical informatics. Kovuri holds a Master of Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Technology from NIT Warangal, specializing in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
