Qiongdan Huang is a Physical Design Methodology and CAD Engineer at Apple since September 2022, bringing extensive expertise in very large scale integrated circuit design (VLSI) from previous experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas from December 2017 to August 2022. During this tenure, Qiongdan focused on developing novel Static Timing Analysis (STA) algorithms with multi-thread capabilities for mixed custom and standard-cell designs. Additional experience includes a Summer CAD Engineering Internship at Silicon Labs in 2021 and being a competitively selected Graduate Archer Fellow at The Archer Center in Washington, D.C. Furthermore, Qiongdan holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
