Quang Nguyen

Quang Nguyen is a senior camera machine learning engineer at Apple, where responsibilities include enhancing image quality and researching new features for future iPhone cameras since October 2017. Prior experience includes co-founding Personify Inc, serving as a senior research software engineer and director of the Vietnam office, where major contributions involved developing dynamic background subtraction algorithms and image fusion algorithms. Quang has also held positions as a visiting research associate at the Coordinated Science Laboratory at the University of Illinois, and as a software developer at Instarecon Inc, focusing on imaging algorithms for medical MRI machines. Quang began a research assistant role at the University of Illinois in August 2006, while earning a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Technology Management.
