Rakshit Kothari

Rakshit Kothari has extensive experience in color science and machine learning, serving as a Senior Color Scientist at Apple from September 2021 to October 2023, where the focus was on machine learning and digital image processing. Previously, Rakshit held various roles at the Rochester Institute of Technology, including Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Adjunct Faculty, and Graduate Tutor, with significant contributions to software solutions and educational support in imaging sciences and electrical engineering. Rakshit also interned at NVIDIA in the Learning and Perception group and at Magic Leap, where gaze classification algorithms were developed. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Imaging Sciences and a Master's in Electrical Engineering, both from Rochester Institute of Technology.
