Reena Somvanshi

Reena Somvanshi is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Apple since May 2022, Reena specializes in AI software, infrastructure, and evaluation. Concurrently, Reena has been a volunteer mentor and resume reviewer at Her Allies Inc. since July 2021, focusing on empowering women to re-enter the tech workforce. Previously, Reena held managerial roles at Zillow and Yahoo, where responsibilities included scaling engineering teams, launching machine learning APIs, and improving ad performance. Reena's educational background includes an Executive MBA program at the University of California, Berkeley, focused on AI for business, and a Master's in Computer Applications from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
