Richard Fineman

Richard Fineman is an accomplished engineering manager and senior health and fitness scientist at Apple, where contributions have been made since October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a postdoctoral research fellow and research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on wearable technology for human performance applications. Richard founded Fit Tech Wearables to enhance understanding of human biomechanics and has served as a graduate research fellow at the National Space Biomedical Research Institute, where research involved portable motion capture technology. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Medical Engineering from MIT and a B.A. in Chemical Physics from Columbia University.
