Shireen Bacon

Shireen Bacon is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience in patent management and litigation. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Director of Patents at Intel Corporation, Shireen steers the company's patent strategy, focusing on CPU architecture, software, power management, and security technologies. Previously, Shireen held roles at Intel as Patent Group Counsel and Senior Patent Attorney, where they managed global patent portfolios and contributed to significant legal activities, including licensing negotiations and infringement analysis. A charter member of the Austin IP Inn of Court, Shireen has been instrumental in developing recognized programming within the organization since 2010. Shireen holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law.
