Steve Sebastian

Steve Sebastian is a Machine Learning Engineering Manager at Apple, where they currently lead initiatives in Apple Wallet. Previously, they served as a Machine Learning Engineer focused on computer vision and were a Data Scientist at Insight Data Science, where they developed a movie recommendation engine. Steve earned a PhD in Perceptual Systems from The University of Texas at Austin, where their research focused on human sensitivity to image blur. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a research assistant at Purdue University and an engineering intern at KZF Design.
