Telmo Felgueira

Telmo Felgueira's work experience includes the following roles:

1. Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Loka starting from June 2022.

2. Instructor at Lisbon Data Science Academy since June 2019. Telmo leads the time series specialization, covering topics such as time series data wrangling, analysis, preprocessing, forecasting, and feature engineering.

3. Machine Learning Team Lead at Jungle from January 2021 to May 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at the same company, starting from June 2019.

4. Graduate Student at Jungle from September 2018 to May 2019, working on a thesis focused on feature causality in wind turbine fault detection models. Telmo implemented models using LightGBM and developed an alarm classification framework to evaluate the results. Telmo also worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Jungle from April 2018 to August 2018.

5. Summer Intern in the Systems and Development Department at REN in July 2017 and August 2017.

6. Guide-Interpreter at Fundação EDP - MAAT (Museu de Arte, Arquitectura e Tecnologia) from July 2016 to May 2017.

Telmo Felgueira completed their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Telmo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they also participated in the Athens Course at the Delft University of Technology, focusing on Computed Aided Analysis of Power System Stability. Telmo then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, which they completed in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Telmo Felgueira obtained a certification in MLOps Zoomcamp from DataTalksClub in October 2022.
