Sun-Il Chang

Sun-Il Chang is a Display Core Technology Engineer at Apple since July 2022, previously serving as a Display Electrical Engineer at Google from October 2018 to July 2022 and as a Senior Display EE Architect at Apple from December 2015 to October 2018. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Analog Design Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor between July 2013 and December 2015, and a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Michigan from July 2008 to June 2013. Sun-Il Chang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan (2008-2013), a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota (2005-2008), and completed coursework as a PhD Candidate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2003-2005), along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Korea University (1996-2003).
