Wenze Hu

Wenze Hu is a Research Scientist at Apple, focusing on visual intelligence and visual generation since December 2022. Prior to this role, Wenze served as the Director of AI Research at Shenzhen IntelliFusion Technology Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included leading the development of large-scale computer vision applications from October 2017 to November 2022. Wenze's experience also includes working as a Software Engineer at Google, specializing in search quality and computer vision model development from August 2013 to October 2017, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Image and Vision Science, UCLA, engaged in computer vision and machine learning research from April 2009 to August 2013. Wenze's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Statistics with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning from UCLA, and a Master's degree in Optical and Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
