Yelena Ree

Yelena Ree is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and finance. At Apple, from January 2015 to March 2021, Yelena served as Director of Engineering for Siri ML SEE and as Head of Siri QE in addition to holding the position of Senior Manager for Maps. Prior to Apple, Yelena spent nearly five years at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing long-term forecasting as Director of Corporate FP&A to managing debt refinancing and divestitures in a Director role within Treasury & Capital Investments. Previous experience also includes a Finance Manager position at Volkswagen of America and as a Portfolio Strategist at the Carlson School Fixed Income Fund, where allocation and optimization strategies were developed for a $16 million portfolio. Yelena holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and an M.A. in Theological Studies with a focus on Greek Language from Bethel University.
