Yixiang Mao

Yixiang Mao is an experienced professional in the field of machine learning and video engineering, having served as a Machine Learning Video Engineer at Apple from May 2022 to August 2021 and as a Machine Learning Research Intern earlier at the same company. Prior experience includes a position as a Media Engineer Intern at Tencent America in the summer of 2020 and as a Research Assistant at New York University, collaborating with Professor Yao Wang on projects involving immersive media, video processing, computer vision, and machine learning from August 2018 to May 2022. Yixiang holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University, as well as both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from New York University.
