Youfeng Zhang

Youfeng Zhang is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in product design and analysis, specializing in mechanical engineering. Beginning with an internship at General Electric in 2010, Youfeng progressed through various roles, including advisory engineer at TDK/SAE Magnetics, where a physics-based regression model was developed for reliability performance optimization. Currently, as a sensor product design and analysis engineer at Apple, Youfeng is involved in the development of advanced touch and force sensors. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, an exchange program at Korea University, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Additional experience includes research assistant roles focused on surface mechanics and tribology, as well as internships at Seagate Technology and HGST, contributing to a well-rounded background in engineering and product development.
