Yuan Hu

Yuan Hu is a skilled SoC Thermal Engineer at Apple, with experience dating back to July 2021. Prior to this role, Yuan Hu pursued a PhD at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, focusing on thermal property measurement methodology and instrument development from October 2017 to June 2021. Yuan Hu also has a background as a PhD student at Purdue University, where research involved broad band chirp signals for electrochemical impedance characterization between January 2016 and October 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as a process engineer at Eli Lilly and Company, enhancing packaging efficiency from August 2014 to January 2016, and as a graduate research assistant at Purdue University, developing a custom frequency scanner for electrochemical testing from August 2012 to May 2014. Yuan Hu obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in thermal science and electrochemical testing, from Purdue University.
