Zhaohui Wang

Zhaohui Wang is a highly experienced professional in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since December 2025. Previously, Zhaohui held the position of Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Atlassian from September 2022 to December 2025, where expertise included architecting AI solutions involving Generative AI, Large Language Models, search and recommendation systems, and other advanced machine learning applications. Prior to that, Zhaohui was a Principal Applied Scientist at Splunk, leading the Applied Research team focused on natural language processing and streaming machine learning. Zhaohui also contributed as a Senior Applied Scientist at Wells Fargo, specializing in AI and machine learning for decision science and fraud detection. Zhaohui's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Statistics, both obtained from North Carolina State University.
