Zili Chen

Zili Chen is currently the Hardware Design Team Lead at Apple, bringing extensive experience in hardware design within the consumer electronics industry. They have a solid background in product design, solid mechanics, and mechatronics, with a proven track record in 3D modeling, fast prototyping, and structural strength analysis. Prior to their leadership role at Apple, Zili worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Schlumberger, where they designed and developed next-generation platforms, and as a Hardware Design Engineer at Apple. Zili holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where they focused on design and control systems.
