Jared Viarengo, CGCS

Jared Viarengo has worked primarily at Applebrook Golf Club, where they have held various roles since 2000. Jared started as the Director of Grounds and later became the General Manager. Currently, they also serve as the Director of Club Operations. Prior to their time at Applebrook Golf Club, Jared worked as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Winged Foot Golf Club from 1996 to 2000.

Jared Viarengo, CGCS, has a diverse education history. Jared first attended Northeastern University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Following this, from 1995 to 1997, they studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, obtaining an Associate's Degree in Turf and Turfgrass Management.

In 2002, Jared decided to further their education and enrolled in the University of Maryland Global Campus. Jared pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, completing the program in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Jared has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Jared became a Certified Golf Course Superintendent through the GCSAA in February 2005. Furthermore, they achieved the certification of Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator - Category 07 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in September 2000.

Overall, Jared Viarengo has demonstrated a commitment to education and continuous development, furthering their knowledge and expertise in both turf management and human resources management.
