Eason Huang

Eason Huang is a Partner at Appleby, specializing in offshore funds law with a focus on the structuring and formation of both open- and closed-ended investment funds, including private equity and hedge funds, particularly those with a China nexus. Eason has over eight years of experience in the funds industry in Hong Kong and has advised a variety of clients, including Mainland Chinese fund managers and institutional investors. Prior to working at Appleby, Eason served as Counsel at Carey Olsen and Legal Manager at Appleby, where they managed significant transactions involving fund formation and regulation. Eason is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Economic Law at the City University of Hong Kong and has been recognized as a "Rising Star" in investment funds by the IFLR1000.
