Anne Zummo Malone

Anne Zummo Malone has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Anne started their career as a Literacy Coach at AppleTree Institute in 2006, where they worked until 2007. Anne then joined AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School as a Principal in 2007, and served in this role until 2010. After a brief period as the Manager of Academic Programs at the same school from 2010 to 2012, they became the Director of School Leadership in 2012. In 2013, Anne assumed the position of Chief of Schools at AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School, which they held until their departure in 2018. Currently, they are the Chief of Growth and Impact at AppleTree Institute for Education Innovation.

Anne Zummo Malone has a strong educational background. Anne obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State University between the years 1997 and 2001. Anne then pursued further education at Stanford University, where they completed a Masters in Education in the field of Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies from 2005 to 2006. Recently, in 2019, they attended Stanford University again to obtain a Stanford EdLEADers Professional Certificate in Education Leadership, earning 9 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the Graduate School of Education and 9 CEUs from the Graduate School of Business.
