Larry Long Jr.

Larry Long Jr. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Lead Teacher and previously as a Resident Teacher at AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School since July 2017. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Language Teacher with the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education from August 2014 to August 2016, where Larry instructed English as a Foreign Language and contributed significant resources to the curriculum. Additionally, Larry participated as a Corps Member with Jumpstart from August 2012 to April 2013, focusing on early childhood education in low-income neighborhoods. Larry holds a Master of Public Administration in Education Policy from George Mason University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and dual bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Japanese Language and Culture from the University of Pittsburgh, complemented by studies at Konan University.
