Patrick Timmis is a project manager at Applied Blockchain. Patrick has previously worked as a project manager at KOKO Networks, where they were responsible for building the FP&A function and developing the expansion strategy beyond Kenya. Patrick also worked as an author and research associate at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies (CBT), where they wrote the "Distributed Ledger Technology in Supply Chain" for the UCL / Oracle backed Retail Blockchain Consortium. Prior to that, they were the IPO Equity Story Stream Lead at VIVO ENERGY (Shell licensee in Africa), where they were responsible for the investment thesis and associated documentation. Patrick has also worked as a freelance consultant at Halidon Services Ltd.

Patrick Timmis has a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, where they studied French & Modern Greek and was awarded a 2.1. Patrick also has an MA in International Relations from King's College London, where they studied with distinction. In addition, they have a Certificate in Oxford Blockchain Strategy from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Patrick is also certified by PeopleCert in Prince2 Foundation and Prince 2 Agile Practitioner, and by Scaled Agile, Inc. in SAFe Agilist Certification.
