Kat Ginda-Mäkelä is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in commercial operations, product management, and marketing within the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Commercial Operations and Product Manager at Applied Cells since March 2021, Kat previously held the position of Head Of Marketing and Business Development at MNM Bioscience, where a market-driven strategy for personalized medicine was designed and implemented. Additional roles include Commercialization Consultant at the National Centre of BioBanking, Product Marketing Manager and Applications Scientist at ONI, and numerous research and teaching positions across renowned institutions such as the University of Oxford and the University of Wroclaw. Kat holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Wroclaw, and an M.Eng. in Biotechnology from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
