Craig Miller

Craig Miller is the current Managing Director at Applied Corrosion Technology (ACT). Craig has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on strategic assessment, system design, and executive recruiting.

Craig started their career at Bert Davis Consulting Services, where they were the Executive Vice President of Consulting Services. In this role, they partnered with the President to provide interim and fractional COO/CIO/CTO services, as well as strategic assessment and system design services. Craig also led 32 retained searches with a 100% placement rate.

Some of the notable projects Craig has worked on include the Reader's Digest Association (Trusted Media Brands), where they served as the interim CTO. Craig oversaw a 360 degree IT assessment, analyzed corporate-wide financials, and implemented an IT governance plan. Craig also defined, sourced, and implemented a new marketing platform, as well as a new recipe management system.

Another project Craig worked on was the State of Ohio/OarNET journal article system used by all public higher education. Craig was responsible for designing an XML-normalizing ingest system, storage system, discovery system, display/reader system, and bibliography/quoted works system. The project also included an Oracle Multi-Container DB (SQL and NoSQL mixed) architecture with both Oracle application (APEX) and storage layers (ASM) interfaced to a LAMP stack Website and OEM mobile reader.

Craig Miller has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Craig also has a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Planning from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business. In addition, Craig has completed executive education programs on Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy from MIT Sloan and Pragmatic Marketing, respectively.
