Helen Younger has worked in the engineering field since 1993. Helen began their career as a Senior Scientific Officer for the Defence Research Agency where they worked in the civil aerospace environment on projects to improve safety on the ground for civilian operations. In 1995, they joined Raytheon Aircraft as an Engineer, where they were responsible for providing software analysis of recorded noise data for aircraft type certification and for the approval process of noise analysis process. Helen also provided simulation support, keeping the aircraft engineering simulators for both aircraft and missiles groups up and running. In 2000, they joined Applied Dynamics International as an Applications/Support Engineer (Europe).
Helen Younger attended Robert Gordon's Institute of Technology from 1986 to 1989, graduating with a BSc Hons in Physical Sciences.
