Joyce Gerber is a highly experienced Senior Archaeologist currently employed at Applied EarthWorks, Inc. since February 2019, where previous tenure also includes a role as Senior Archaeologist from 1998 to 2004. Joyce served as a Land Use Planner and County Archaeologist for the County of Santa Barbara from May 2006 to January 2019. Prior to that, positions included Senior Scientist at Lockheed Environmental Systems and Technologies and Archaeologist, Project Manager at Dames & Moore. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Anthropology/Archaeology from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Ohio State University. Additional educational background includes attendance at Western College of Miami University and the University of New Mexico.
