Chris Donaghey

Chris Donaghey serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Applied Energetics, Inc., a leader in Advanced Optical Technologies and Ultrashort Pulse Directed Energy Solutions, since April 2019. In addition, Chris holds several advisory and executive positions, including Advisory Board Member at SecureFoundry Inc., Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Silicon Valley Defense Group, and previous roles in corporate development and finance at SAIC and KEYW Corporation. Chris has significant experience in the defense sector and finance, recognized for excellence as a senior investment research analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Chris's military background includes service as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, along with various certificates from The Wharton School.
