Dr. Austin Swen

Dr. Austin Swen has over seven years of work experience in the field of electric vehicle (EV) development and control systems. Dr. Austin is currently employed as a Senior Development Engineer at Applied EV, where they are involved in the project "Development of Suzuki 4×4 autonomous driving electric vehicle." Dr. Austin'sresponsibilities include mathematical modeling and simulation for autonomous driving, as well as the development of functions and features for the vehicle. Prior to this role, Dr. Swen worked at Supashock as a Mechatronic (Control) Engineer, contributing to the "Development of Active Suspension for Mercedes-Benz GLE Control System" project. Here, they were responsible for making decisions on control schemes and algorithms for the nonlinear mechanical system, as well as mathematical modeling for suspension systems.
