Peter Girard

Peter Girard is the current Chief Technical Officer at Applied Geographics. Peter has been with the company since August of 2000, and was promoted to Vice President in September of 2022. Prior to Applied Geographics, Peter worked at Esri for ten years in technical sales support. Before that, they were a mapping technologist for the New York State Department of Transportation. Peter has been working in the field of Geographic Information Systems for over 35 years.

Peter Girard completed their undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire, where they studied geography. Peter then went on to earn their Master of Arts in Geography from Syracuse University.

They are on a team with Kate Hickey - COO, Michele Giorgianni - Principal & Senior Project Manager, and Tom Harrington - CMO. Conor Cousins - Sales Engineer, Ross Topol - Application Development Team Leader, and Dave Holmes - Customer Engineer for Sales report to Peter Girard. Peter Girard reports to Richard Grady, President & CEO.
